Jännerrallye, start of the Austrian rallyseason has been cancelled
Reason of the cancellation by RC Mühlviertel are conditions given by the authorities, which can not be fulfilled
About details RC Mühlviertel will inform at a pressconference on Thuesday 10th November.
The seasonal start 2010 of the Austrian rally championship, 28th Jännerrallye, planned from 07th to 09th January with center in Freistadt, had to be cancelled by the organizer, Rallyeclub Mühlviertel.
Chairman Staber Ferdinand said: “ On 3rd of November we had a meeting with the authorities of the district of Freistadt. Subject was the authority approval. Although the Jännerrallye has been organized in an excellent manner during the last years, new preconditions has been given by the authorities for a possible approval of the event, which we – Rallyeclub Mühlviertel – are not able to fulfil. Therefore we have to cancel Jännerrallye 2010”.
